Mervielle and Faith

Mervielle experienced a lot of transition growing up in the Congo and coming to the U.S. at 13. Despite all the upheaval, Mervielle never lost her smile or hope. She came to The Launch Pad at 18 from her former foster home. Mervielle immediately went to work on budgeting, nutrition goals, obtained her drivers license, and is saving for a car. Mervielle and and her daughter, Faith, exude joy and gratitude. She is seeking and deepening in her faith.

Currently Mervielle is enrolled in cosmetology school during the day and works weekends. Please consider helping Mervielle with her career goals. Your gift goes toward helping Mervielle cover the cost of rent, education needs, and other household supplies as she works and is in school.
